"What an absolutely beautiful experience. Not only the incredible food, but the love and warmth that Roberto and his staff exude while welcoming you into his home, and the passion he shares while paying respect to the indigenous Otomí people."

Delicioso no solo gastronómicamente. Gracias por la experiencia!"

"If you love nature and food, this is a unique and memorable experience that is worth the drive. Reservation and deposit needed. It is a whole-day experience (10:30am - 4:30pm), so plan accordingly. Menu changes seasonally. The restaurant is able to accommodate gluten free dining. You will be walking in the forest, so consider comfortable shoes and outfits. The experience starts with breakfast, followed by a local ritual of sharing positive intentions and wishes, before commencing on a mushroom foraging journey. Thereafter, the owner guided us through learning about the mushrooms we have foraged. Finally, there is a 6-course meal with cocktail pairings. The food is outstanding - from presentation to execution. Well balanced flavors and thoughtful choice of ingredients (all locally grown and sourced). The service is warm and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Roberto and hearing his stories. His passion for the community, nature, and food really shines through. We are excited to come back again with more friends It is a wholesome getaway from the city that will leave your heart and stomach full."
